I am a lover of paint and the painted surface. For more than 30 years I have peeled the dried acrylic paint from artist palettes and transformed it into unique wearable art. That is the very short and condensed story of Parts of Art.
Now I am offering several fun and innovative workshops right in my peaceful country studio, so that you can take part in the fun!
We're playing with clay!
This workshop is available for all local Homeschool groups.
It will be held at the Alexandria Monroe Library from 10-11 AM.
We will be exploring 3D design concepts and working with air-dry clay. In this one hour session we will be making and painting a Garden Treasure Box from clay and cardboard.
No experience is necessary, and all materials are provided.
Reserve your seat at the table and get ready to play with clay!
Parts of Art started out as an answer to prayer, and has grown and evolved since then. Now I am ready to share more.
For many years my husband and I lived and worked in Florida, but five years ago moved back to Indiana and reclaimed his boyhood home in rural Indiana.
Part of the charm of the reclaimed country home is the studio built into one of the barns. This is where we are presently pursuing our love for making art.
Those who come to my workshops will have the benefit of not only sharing my creative workspace, but also the combined knowledge, resources, and ridiculous stories I have gained along the way.
It’ll be a memorable and productive time!
